Suzy's priorities:
-
Standing in solidarity with our immigrant neighbors
-
Preserving rent stabilization and preventing the displacement of current residents
-
Keeping two year terms for City Council to maintain accountability and to give all of our 16 and 17 year-olds the opportunity to cast their Youth Vote
-
Enacting values-based budgeting following a comprehensive review of city services and programs
In her 27 years as a Takoma Park resident, Suzy has worked collaboratively to protect Dorothy’s Woods, organize youth sports leagues, and respond to the crisis of federal immigration enforcement endangering our community. As Ward 2 Councilmember, she will be a consensus builder and community mobilizer.
